Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello, As your mother is suffering from elevation of uric acids and that indicates she is suffering from gout which is also called as Vata Raktha in ayurveda. So, it is clear that if your mother controls her diet and lifestyle modification, and with medications, if uric acid levels come under control, she may get relieved from joint pains. However, she need to be monitored for other complaints like premenopausal or menopausal condition as you did not mentioned about her menopause status as premenopausal or menopausal condition may lead to joint pains and there will be calcium imbalance. So, for now she may consume the following medicines such as Package Medicine that contains Kaishore Guggul, Punarnvadi mandur, which are helpful and for external application you may apply Mahanarain Oil and consume this Chopchinyadi Churna which has to be consumed with honey and the dosage would be ½ teaspoon.
