Answered by Dr.Vijay : Hello Sir, As your father is suffering from geriatric problem as he is 83-year-old and diagnosed with memory loss which is usually described as cognitive impairment and dementia. As you are just telling that is have features of Alzheimer’s, it is better to get it diagnosed properly as this is rare condition in India where there are no proper diagnostic tools as such to diagnose the condition. However, we can take few factors, one is dementia, and the other is frequent urination as there is failure of voluntary muscles and sphincter muscles and the other factor is his prostate gland enlargement. So, after considering all these factors as an ayurvedic doctor I would like to focus on his dementia and urinary complaint. So, there are certain herbal medicines such as Organic Bramhi Capsules which is good for his condition and Divya Chandraprabha vati is helpful for his urinary condition. With regards, Dr. Vijay.
